This past Saturday gifted me with an occasion to hike a piece of the Appalachian Trail I've long wanted to tread. Dragon's Tooth is a challenging path, especially so with a through hiker's pack, which I did not have. My companions were delightful, especially with the talk about good foods. The top offered its view, a soothing strong breeze, and the best damn peanut butter sandwich I've ever had. (Ever notice how sandwiches are so much better when someone else makes them?) It was living in the Now in a pure form, and I reveled in it.
