I have learned more about my dear friend Margrit's death, or at least the days leading up to it. She had just returned from a cruise in the Caribbean that was sponsored by a favorite publication of hers. She had also managed a road trip from Virginia to Michigan to bring her car to her residence there. Margrit always said that a memorial service was unlikely to occur after her death but as it turns out there may be one in the spring back at her beloved mountain home.
It was a life worthy of celebration.
